Randy and Ruth were approved as AGWM missionaries to Samoa in 1978 and served there until 1983. For the next 14 years, Randy ministered as an evangelist throughout the United States. Randy and Ruth were reappointed as missionaries in 1998.

Current Ministry
Randy Hurst has served as Director of Communications since 1997. This position involves oversight of video, media production and fund-raising for special World Missions projects, including Senders Fund, AG Relief and General Emergency Fund.
