Library and computer laboratory
Lomé, new library and computer laboratory for WAAST. This facility will be used for basic and higher learning of pastors from 22 African nations. In April and May we will be erecting the super-structure complete with pre-fabricated insulated wall & roof panels. Windows and doors will follow shortly thereafter. In May & June we need teams to install the interior stud walls, sheet rock, paint complete interior, hang light fixtures, set plumbing fixtures and complete all interior finish work which will follow immediately.

Project 4444 — Anyone interested in coming out we are only asking for about $6000 in funds to build a church. The church is required to finish the rest of the church - that is the cap we have set for each church. The church that we have already started is in the Acronhoek area of Mpumalanga. We still need about $2500 to finish the project. If anyone is interested in coming out on a building trip, we would be happy to accommodate them.

Project 4529 — Chad Field acct 794598, class (44) FM radio station: the first Christian radio station in the history of the country of Chad, on the air for two years now. Amazing impact on the city. We are currently building the first floor of the radio station but need to build two more floors to provide enough ministry space. Each additional floor will cost $35,000 to complete.
Project 4525 — Chad Field acct 794598, class (88) Bible school, Moundou, Chad: The Assemblies of God Chad does not have a Bible school campus. Right now we are using a single class room to teach students on a non-residential program. Land has been purchased and we need the first phase of the buildings to go up before we can start on the campus.
First phase includes:
1. Student housing – 20 "apartments" at a cost of $2500 each.
2. Classroom / temporary library building – using a Tabernacle Evangelism steel shell, this will cost $50,000 to finish.
3. Staff housing/duplex – each duplex will cost $20,000 to complete.

Multiple teams needed immediately through 2006! Has had 1 team in 32 years. Missionaries are Wayne & Sylvia Turner.
Project 4423 — Dormitory construction / Bible school. Two-story building, masonry and carpentry, painting skills needed. Steel frame will be erected in April or May. Cinder block construction of the "skin" will begin late May or June. Steel frame has been paid for. Property is paid for. Amount of money needed for masonry work: $30,000.
Project 4442 — Classroom building for Women's Training center. Ministry to prostitutes off the street and keep young girls out of this trap. Two-story building, masonry, carpentry, painting skills needed. Foundation is begun. By June we should be ready to pour the ceiling of the first floor which will be the floor to the second floor. Still need $25,000 to finish second floor.
Project 4206 — Church construction. Build churches on existing plots of land. Masonry and carpentry skills needed. $10,000 for each church building needed. Several churches have plots of land they have paid for but lack building funds.

Project 4328 — Women's Training Center in northern Benin. The Center is a place where women and girls who have been orphaned, and rejected by their family, or are being forced into slavery or an unwanted marriage are able to come and learn job skills to support themselves. I was just in Benin, taking a team of American women to teach at the center. While there I noticed that two of the classrooms are being used for the guard and his wife, and for the day teachers to have a place to gather in between class time. We need a duplex that will be a place for the people I just mentioned above. This would open up those two large classrooms for more women/girls to benefit from this ministry. The dimensions would be roughly 21 feet by 40 feet. This would be cement block walls, floor, roof, doors and windows. The cost is $15,000.

Project 4513 — 50 new tabernacles in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania--the capital city of about 4 million people! The cost of planting each new church is about $6,000. This includes about $2,000 to purchase a lot, and about $4,000 to buy and ship each tabernacle, which is built in East Africa. We have planted or are planting 6 churches, but lack the funds to continue. Perhaps the Lord will lay it on someone's heart to help us raise the funds and plant these churches. We have a list of many pastors who have graduated from Bible School, but need help in moving ahead. These people often make only $1 a day, so they need help planting a city church. Because it costs more to plant churches in the city, we end up building the most churches where there are the fewest people. Please help us. Half of the people of the world live in big cites. Some of our pastors in Dar have graduated from Bible School and have small house churches, but have waited 10 years for a breakthrough on purchasing a lot and erecting a tabernacle. When that happens, the church can grow from 20 to 400 in a few months! Can MAPS Builders help us?

Project 4401 — If you have anyone who would like to come from 6 months to 2 years please send them our way. We could use at least 2 right now. Larry Allen, the missionary here, is building a new headquarters building for our national church. This is a Training Center (HIV/AIDS) with executive offices for the national church. The project is about 40% finished but now out of funds. Larry's account number is 217446-4. The least amount that it will cost to finish this project is $100,000. We would so much appreciate help in this area.
