Description of needs
Project 7937 — Quiñenahuin, Chile. The Mapuche High School has been destroyed by fire. National leaders want to rebuild, but they are overwhelmed as they try to make arrangements for the rest of the year. This includes housing and feeding the students, as well as making sure the 12th graders will be able to graduate on time.

Latin America ChildCare (LACC) has approved the Quiñenahuin Mapuche High School as the Matching Funds project for 2007. This means that in March or April of 2007, LACC will do a promotional blitz to match an initial amount of about $50,000. We hope to raise a total of $100,000. These funds will probably be available in June or July of 2007. That means that we will still need another $100,000 to $200,000 to rebuild all of the school and the dormitories, kitchen and dining hall. We are going to need help from every possible source to make this happen!

We must immediately raise $10,000 to $20,000 to build a new set of bathrooms (boys & girls) and a kitchen/dining area prior to the start of the 2007 school year. This needs to be done by March 1st of 2007.

Description of needs
Project 9910 — Bible School in a town called Izalco. Izalco is a very historic town for the country and the national church. The cost of the whole project is around $40,000, but it can be built by stages of $10,000 each. Although somewhat close in time because of inconvenience to students. I believe there are six classrooms that need to be built on a small piece of property. Three would be done on the first level and three on the second.

Project 7101 — Build three or four large classrooms for the Assemblies of God University in San Salvador, the capital city of El Salvador. The university is the first A/G university in Latin America and is being blessed of the Lord in enrollment growth. We presently have around 900 students.

Description of needs
Project 8571 — This school is located in the city of Tocumen, about 20 miles out of Panama City. The school began in 1999 with 32 students in kindergarten and first grade. The school has grown by nearly 50 each year and now has 253 students kindergarten to sixth grade. Major reconstruction and addition is needed to bring the school to a 500 capacity to be able to continue through 9th grade.

Project 7795 — Jireh Good Shepherd School (LACC). This school, located on the Tocumen Highway in the community of Pedregal on the outskirts of Panama City, opened in 1997 with 23 children in kindergarten. Enrollment has increased steadily to more than 200 today. The school would like to expand through 9th grade. The facilities are inadequate. Some classrooms must be replaced and new classrooms added to manage the expected growth.

Project 1689 — Central Bible School/ Computer Lab/ Ministry Offices. The Central Bible School in Panama City serves 175 Bible school students. A new computer lab needs to be built to respond to an expanding teaching program. This project will require the construction of an intermediate floor in the annex part of the Bible school and will provide ministry offices in addition to the computer lab.

Project 7959 — Gonzalillo Good Shepherd School (LACC). Additional classrooms are needed at this school located in the community of Gonzalillo, off the highway between Panama City and Colon.

Project 7958 — Monte de Sion Good Shepherd School (LACC). Second story classrooms need to be built at the primary school located in the densely populated community of Cerro Batea located in the greater Panama City area.

Project 9854 — Los Planes Church Plant. Los Planes, southeast of La Paz near the Sea of Cortez, is a rural town in an agricultural valley. It and the surrounding towns and ranches do not have an established evangelical church. A MAPS team in April will be laying the cement block wall for half of the sanctuary (14 x 12 meters). Additional teams will be needed for the other half of the building (finished building measures 14 x 24 meters), the roof, floor, etc. In the future, classrooms and restrooms are on the plan. All the remaining work, windows, doors, electrical installation, lighting, plumbing, etc. for the sanctuary, then the classrooms, restrooms, etc.

Project 8761 — Diana Laura Church Plant. Diana Laura is a “colonia” or developing neighborhood on the southwest of the city of La Paz. There is tremendous growth to the south of the city and lack of evangelical churches. The foundation is in for a 14 x 24 meter sanctuary. It is prepared for a steel structure and cement block walls. A water cistern is on the property but electricity has not been brought in yet.

Description of needs
Project 8404 — This is a new Sanctuary for the "Cristo Viene" Assembly of God church in Santa Catarina Pinula, just on the edge of Guatemala City. The church has secured a good sized piece of property on which to build their new sanctuary to seat 1,500 people. Their present facility is completely full (approximately 500) and they are also using the facility for a Christian school with 189 students, many from unsaved families in the community. Once the new sanctuary is completed, the old building will become the school full time. We will have a project number in the near future, but don't have it now. We are asking each team to contribute $8,000 or more for construction materials. The church is doing all they can to come up with as much funds as possible. Besides buying the property, they have about $20,000 to begin some of the lot preparation.

Project 9833 — This is a project to build 100 steel tabernacles, 36'x48' with sheet metal roof, in Honduras. They have currently planted or are in the process of planting these new works. We want to introduce the "Africa Tabernacle" concept in Honduras. I am attempting to raise enough now to build the first 7 churches as that is how many will fit in a container to be shipped from the US. However, the entire project of 100 tabernacles, to be built over the next 4 years, will require some $800,000. We are asking participating teams or churches to buy a church for $10,000 and send a team of not more than 12 men/women to build the project. The team would come for 6 or 7 days.
