Russ Turney

The TurneysRuss and Patsy Turney have served as regional directors to the diverse area of Asia Pacific since 1998.  370 missionaries and associates work in partnership with national fellowships within 35 countries and territories who have grown to 5.7 million believers.

Prior to the Turneys present assignment, they were missionaries to the Philippines for 14 years and served as Southeast Asia Area directors for eight years.

Russ and Patsy began their ministry in Missouri as pastors of two churches from 1969-1978. In 1978 Russ was elected as district youth director in the Southern Missouri District until their missionary appointment in 1983.

Education

Russ received his BA from Central Bible College in 1969 and MA from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 1975.  He is currently completing a Doctorate in Ministry at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in Baguio, Philippines with graduation scheduled for March, 2012.  

Family

Russ and Patsy were married in 1966.  They have three children Mark, Nathan, and Rebekah (all married) and nine grandchildren.
