Update on Egypt
Update on Egypt
AG World Missions leaders in the Middle East ask you to pray for Egypt during this time of political upheavel. We have two veteran personnel familes on the ground. Both have the experience of living and ministering in war-torn contexts and have decided to remain in Egypt to minister to those in need. They have also been encouraged by the hospitality of their Egyptian neighbors who have expressed concern for our personnel as foreigners living in their country during this difficult time. Please pray for the working poor during this time as most jobs have come to an end in the capital. This means they lack the funds to purchase bread for the day. Pray for a return of law and order in the streets of the country as looting and vandalism are on the rise. Finally, pray that whatever political regime winds up in control after this has settled down will be willing to assure religious freedom for all Egyptians. -
