The Assemblies of God Executive
Presbytery has unanimously appointed Paul Trementozzi as the next Europe
regional director. Trementozzi succeeds Greg Mundis, who was appointed
as
executive director of AG World Missions at the 54th General
Council.
“I can highly recommend Paul and
Angie as people of integrity, vision and passion for people — especially
for
the lost,” says Mundis. “It gives me great joy that they are following
Sandie
and me in ministry. We trust God for His continued blessings on their
lives.”
Trementozzi has served with
Assemblies of God World Missions since 1993, when he and his wife were
appointed as church planters in Spain — they have been church planters
for 16
years. For the past 10 years, Trementozzi has served as area director
for
Southern Europe.
Previously, Paul has also served
as senior pastor at Bethel Assembly of God in Baltimore, Maryland;
assistant
pastor at Brockton Assembly of God in Brockton, Massachusetts; director
of
Brockton Christian Counseling Center; and a counselor for suicidal and
troubled
teens for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services.
“I am so very pleased that the
Lord has opened the door for them to serve in this capacity,” says
Mundis. “I
know that as Paul and Angie move into this position, they will do so
with
prayer, a heart for our missionary family and the touch of God on their
lives.”
Trementozzi has a master of arts
in negotiation, conflict resolution and international peace from
California
State University and a bachelor of arts in psychology from Eastern
Nazarene
College in Quincy, Massachusetts.
He and his wife have three sons.
