Richard & Cynthia Nicholson
Richard and Cynthia Nicholson have served as regional directors for Latin America and the Caribbean since 1997. More than 480 missionaries and 145 missionary associates work among the region's 27.2 million Assemblies of God believers and adherents. The Nicholsons were appointed as church planting missionaries to Argentina in 1978 resulting in nine new churches and seven church expansions. They served in Mexico and as area directors for the Caribbean, each for three years. After graduating from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with a master’s in counseling and recent certification as a licensed counselor, Cynthia serves the region in areas of marriage and family seminars, pastoral counseling training, and crisis intervention presentations.
