Pentecostal missionary pioneers resolutely obeyed the call of the Spirit many decades ago. They followed the Spirit’s direction to the places where He led, doing His work in His way — by biblical principles under His guidance.

Sometimes doing things God’s way means that we will not see results as quickly as we would like. But our missionary forefathers were faithful to obey the Word and the Spirit, and today we are seeing the exponential results of the solid foundation they laid.

The commitment of Assemblies of God World Missions to establishing indigenous churches after the New Testament pattern has been at the core of the church’s long-term explosive growth throughout the world. Staying true to our comprehensive, integrated mission of reaching, planting, training and touching — evangelism, church planting, training of national believers and compassion ministries — have paid multiplied Kingdom dividends.

So we follow the chart of God’s Word, propelled by the wind of the Spirit, and stay the course in our worldwide mission.
